User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.2.3) Gecko/20100423 Ubuntu/10.04 (lucid) Firefox/3.6.3
Build Identifier: 3.0.4 (Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.1.9) Gecko/20100423 Thunderbird/3.0.4)

In a previous version of Thunderbird, right clicking on the arrow of the scroll bar would move the message list all the way to the top/bottom. In this version, right clicking only moves down one message (the same as left clicking).

In the email composer (new message) right clicking the arrow on the scroll bar does move to the top/bottom. A user may expect the same behavior in the list with messages.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click on an inbox or RSS feed
2. Right click on the (down) arrow of the scroll bar in the message list
3.
Actual Results:
The list moves down one message.

Expected Results:
The list moves down all the way to the bottom.

The build tested is included in Ubuntu 10.04 (lucid).

Summary: No scroll to top/bottom when right clicking arrow → No scroll to top/bottom when right clicking scroll arrow

Clicking scroll bar WFM on Mac and Windows.
But clicking the arrow, I'm not clear of the design standards for these or Linux.
But this would also not be our code.

My understanding of the design is Ctrl+End scrolls to the end of a list. The scroll to the beginning is Ctrl+Home. That is on Windows. I have never encountered right click actions on standard scrollbars.

As current, Thunderbird displays the selected message context menu on right clicking in message lists scroll bars, I don't think there is much of a future for a bug asking for right click actions.
