User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.3) Gecko/20100401 Firefox/3.6.3 ( .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET4.0E) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.3) Gecko/20100401 Firefox/3.6.3 ( .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET4.0E) My tabs regularly close without any prompt being displayed, when I click and drag within the page. The event handling of the mouse does not make any sense from a user perspective. The pointer is not regularly synched, and, it is not yet verified whether this is a browser or a mouse driver issue. Has anyone else encountered similar issues? Reproducible: Always Expected Results: A warning would be displayed prior to pages being closed. The user would have to select the (x) before pages are closed.
Are the tabs opened in a new window? In that case you're seeing Bug 225680.
