The example is using <img> but it also happens if a semitransparent PNG is set as background of a position:fixed element or is a child in the DOM of such.
Tested on two computers by now.
Windwos XP, Windows 7.


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Scroll
Actual Results:  
Background or the fixed png image flickers leaving a trail

Expected Results:  
No flickering whatsoever
