Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.10) Gecko/20100512 Thunderbird/3.0.5
Accessing one specific newsgroup in Thunderbird, causes the Thunderbird.exe process to use 100% CPU and the GUI of Thunderbird to be "not responding".
After deleting the files referring to the specific newsgroup, the problem went away.
I have attached the deleted files to this bug report so that you can investigate the issue.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Thunderbird
2. Open the newsgroup "dk.edb.hardware"

Henrik do you also see increased memory when this happens?
perhaps a dup of bug 539194, but there may be better candidates.

For specific newsgroup/high CPU% part.
Same problem as bug 541001(dup of bug 185634)?
