Build ID: self-built from 30e7132bba28 2010-06-23 04:07 -0400

System:
Ubuntu Lucid x86_64, MSI GeForce GT 210 Silent, Canonical-packaged proprietary Nvidia driver (nvidia-current 195.36.24-0ubuntu1~10.04), metacity ("no desktop effects").

Steps to reproduce:
 1) Navigate to http://videos.mozilla.org/serv/air_mozilla/firefox4.ogg
 2) Go to full screen
 3) Move the mouse
 4) Wait
 5) Move the mouse
 3) Wait for buffering problems

Actual results:
Whenever the video controls appear or disappear or when the screen fades to gray with the spinner in the middle, the screen flickers.

Expected results:
Smooth transitions without flicker.
This doesn't happen after reinstalling the nvidia driver and enabling compiz.
