I then have to constantly move to where I need the file downloaded. I have checked my options and Always Ask is ticked. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Tick ask where to download, untick download to "Downloads" 2.Download something somewhere else, eg My Documents 3.Attempt to download something else. Actual Results: Attempt to download now goes autmatically to Download Folder. I never use this folder. Expected Results: Old system would got to My Documents as last downloaded site This has only happened in most recent update
May be Bug 574253 - Firefox 3.6.4 fails to save last download directory if clear browser history is set.
Yes seems to be the same problem I am having. If you want to close this and link to other feel free. Not happy that its "by design".
