User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10_6_4; en-US) AppleWebKit/534.2 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/6.0.447.0 Safari/534.2
Build Identifier:
I configured a POP account which downloaded 57 emails. I then realised I made a mistake - I wanted an IMAP account, deleted the POP account and setup the IMAP one. However the dock badge continued to show 57 emails (from the POP setup). I had to quite and reopen Thunderbird to clear that.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. create a pop account that downloads a few emails - note the dock badge count
2. delete the account
3. note the badge count has not reduced

What version of Thunderbird are you using ?
Can you create a DockCounts log as instructed at https://wiki.mozilla.org/MailNews:Logging so we can figure out what's going on on your installation ?
Is the problem gone now ?
