Mac only. build 2000-10-20-08-MN6. Not sure where this bug belongs, or where it's actually occurring, but ... Lowered severity because it's not a likely user scenario. 1. Launch 6.0 and go to sweetlou. open latest build folder. 2. Double-click on a .sea.bin file, say MacNetscape6Installer.sea.bin. 3. Downloading dlog opens. wait for .sea.bin image file to appear on desktop. 4. Select "Save to disk" radio button. 5. Click OK. 6. In Save dlog, select Desktop for destination. 7. Click Save. Result: msg "A document called xxx.sea.bin already exists ... replace ...?" Expected: Since this is an image that disappears while downloading and decompression occurs, this msg shouldn't appear (I think!). Another solution is the prevent the image from appearing, but don't know if that's possible.
I'd say it's a bit more severe because I've noticed this on every single *.sit file I've downloaded... MacOS 9.0.4, Power Macintosh G3/233 Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; N; PPC; en-US; m18) Gecko/20001103 Netscape6/6.0 Says the file exists, file is NOT visible on the desktop, but is visible in the Navigation Services window. Clicking "replace" is the only option, d/l will fail otherwise.
Since Don has left, Vishy is taking his bugs in bulk, pending reassignment. thanks, Vishy

I fixed this just before RTM. You shouldn't see this extra dialog saying you are over writing an exisiting file.

verified on mac build 2001-01-02-09. Tried out .sea.bin files in build folder. Fixed. "Replace" message will only appear if the .sea.bin file is left over from a previous install, as expected.
