Personas only work with the default theme in Firefox 3.6. Make sure you are using it (tools > addons > themes > use default theme). Please respond if this is the issue.
i have firefox 3.6.6 and previouly i had 3.6.4 wich both version i cant preview the theme putting the mouse over a theme in this website http://www.getpersonas.com/en-US/ i cant preview it so i dont see ant vsiual changes when previewing the theme just when i click in the wear it button but if i put just the mouse over one theme it doesnt preview , in 3.6.3 it works perfectly just put the mouse over to preview the theme and wear it button to apply and also in 3.6.3 it dont ask to allow theme changes i just click and it changes automaticaly.even with the default theme
