User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; de; rv:1.9.2.6) Gecko/20100625 Firefox/3.6.6 Build Identifier: Thunderbird 3.1 Security risc found under Ubuntu 10.04 with Thunderbird 3.1. When you open the file "Inbox" (home/USERNAME/.thunderbird/YOUR_PROFIL/Mail/Local Folder/) with gedit (or another editor), you can see EVERY mail wich was stored in your inbox. It#'s not neccesary if the mail is permanently deleted or not. Reproducible: Always
yes, you must compact the inbox to remove deleted messages. Thunderbird uses the standard Berkeley mailbox format, and that's the way that format works.
