there is an encoding problem with your file, it's not in UTF8, can you resend with the right encoding please ? (more generally, we only work with UTF8 on all mozilla sites and products, which is also the default encoding for all current OSes)
I spotted a problem - the Download box on http://www-trunk.stage.mozilla.com/gd has a size issue (mostly to do with the length of Gaelic) but I also misinterpreted what's an imperative verb for a noun. Do I just change "Luchdadh a-nuas" to "Luchdaich a-nuas" in Verbatim? We also need to consider the width issue. We could shrink the text to "Luchdaich a-nuas an-asgaidh" but that would still be too long for the box. Could that be widened by any chance?
The box cannot be widened but the text can be made smaller in font size. 'Free Download' in the download box *is* a noun and not the imperative form of the Download verb. This string is in your main.lang file on svn. I can change it for you if necessary since you don't have svn access yet, I would suggest rephrasing it to be shorter in the box if possible.
Ok (re noun/verb). We'll have to reduce the font size then (similar to the Irish http://www.mozilla.com/ga-IE/); the shortest I can make the string without it becoming ambiguous is "Luchdadh a-nuas an-asgaidh", if you could change that that would be great. Hopefully that, at a slightly smaller font, will be short enough to fit. The only other way would be to use a verb constructions along the lines of "Faigh e an-asgaidh" (Get it free) or something like that but that may be frowned upon, so perhaps better to try the other one first. Cheers!
done in r70152, this is the bigger I can get while keeping the string on one line.
Michael, you files still have encoding problems, may I ask what text editor you are using ? It looks like it doesn't support UTF8 at all.
Font size is fine, thanks! Is this were I learn some new swearwords from you because I've used MS WordPad?
Wow ! Please don't use Worpad or Microsoft Word or any word processor for text editing, they are really not suited for Mozilla work :) Geany is a free simple and effective text editing sofware that exists for both Windows and Linux, you could use that: http://geany.org/ There are other good alternatives for Windows like Ultraedit or Notepad++ All those software have color syntaxing that makes working on html or dtd/properties files more easy and they have real native UTF8 support by default :) Thanks

Ok, I stand corrected ;) Used Geany, tell me it's kosher this time!
looks good now, marking fixed :)

Grand, many thanks! Tiny point (for which I'm kicking myself) - could you remove a typo for me? Below the headline, last words "brabhsadh an lìon" should be "brabhsadh an lìn" Very sorry but I find proofreading hard when the sentence breaks across screens!
typo fixed in r70183
According to http://l10n.mozilla.org/~pascalc/main_lang/index.php?locale=gd&site=0 there are four strings missing: ;MPEG-4 format Fòrmat MPEG-4 ;Ogg Theora format Fòrmat Ogg Theora ;Watch the video Coimhead air a' video ;WebM format Fòrmat WebM The 2 strings that are the same are fine that way.
