User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.6) Gecko/20100625 Firefox/3.6.6 ( .NET CLR 3.5.30729)
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.6) Gecko/20100625 Firefox/3.6.6 ( .NET CLR 3.5.30729)
FireFox will keep redirecting and never finished. It's a infinite loop.
This happens only after FireFox 3.6.4 and 3.6.6. Version 3.6.3 and before are good.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a Google group (for example: I'm owner of jassandra-user group)
2. You are the owner of that group
3. You have set auto login with Google Account
4. Then, the address (for example: http://groups.google.com/group/jassandra-user) is input in the address bar
Actual Results:
The browser will keep redirecting and never finished
Expected Results:
The google group web site will be showing up.
As stated earlier, it happens with latest 2 build: 3.6.4 and 3.6.6.
Version 3.6.3 and before are good.
IE 8 and Google Chome are tested, they are good.

Please try http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode and clear the google cookies and disk cache
I did the following two things:
1. Start with the safe mode short cut from Start menu
2. Clear all cookies while running in safe mode
Result
All working good now.
My FireFox is upgraded from 3.6.3 to 3.6.4 and then to 3.6.6. Is this because while updating from 3.6.3 to 3.6.4, something wrong there.
By the way: i have two machines: both following the same upgrade path, and both have the same problem. I just did the safe mode steps in one of them. I may do it in my other machine when I am at home.
Happy to know that it can work now. Thanks.

Please do the safemode step separate from the clear cookie/cache thing.
The safemode disables installed addons temporary and it would be good to know which step fixes the issue.
The problem disappeared suddenly (I just tried my home machine without any changes)
And I did a research, found that people here report the same thing:
http://support.mozilla.com/tiki-view_forum_thread.php?comments_parentId=700930&forumId=1
And looks like people there also say that it disappeared suddenly at time Mon 28 of Jun, 2010 07:12 PST.
My guess would be there is a server side change of the Google Group web site, causes the problem recently, and there is another update to clear the issue. Based on what I have found in internet, it does not related with the version of FireFox.
Then, the point is: IE and Google Chome works while FireFox experiences the infinite loop. And it cannot be re-produced any more, so don't know whether it still worth or can investigate any more.
Thanks for your time.

I think that you didn't had the same cookies stored in IE and chrome. It's usually a server problem with the cookies....
I will mark this wfm, please reopen if you get this again :-)
