Colorpicker colors should trigger onmouseup. This would allow you to mousedown on a button to show the colorpicker popup, mouseover the color you want, and release the mousebutton all in one smooth, fast, efficient process. This is also consistent with menu behavior (except context menus)

they should actually be oncommand. I have a patch that fixes most of the colorpicker bugs.

Is this bug still a real problem? There was no action since 04-2001, maybe implement Stuart's patch or just close this bug?
(In reply to comment #3) > Is this bug still a real problem? > There was no action since 04-2001, maybe implement Stuart's patch or just close > this bug? Yes it's a real problem :D My application needs a colorpicker but it doesn't work with Firefox 1.5.0.3 :(
Can anyone explain me why does the colorpicker in the "options" panel of Firefox 1.5.0.3 work, and why doesn't it work in my own XUL applications ??? I thought it was the same XUL engine, isn't it ???
