If you squeeze the search toolbar to the right, it will compress the feedback button to the point the "Feedback" text is hidden. However, if you stretch the search plugin back the other way, the "Feedback" button never expands and recovers to original size (and "Feedback" text is gone)
See screenshot
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:2.0b1) Gecko/20100628 Firefox/4.0b1
Repro:
1) install Fx4.0b1
2) slide the search plugin in the toolbar to the right, and notice it hides the "Feedback" text in the button
3) now slide the search plugin back to original state to the left, and verify the button never expands and "Feedback" text never repopulates in the button
Expected:
- The "Feedback" button

Jono can you check this bug out as well. I can confirm on Win XP with the same build. I think it's a simple fix as we just have to make it a fixed position (ASSUMPTION).

I think this is fixed by the patch in bug 575767 - not a beta blocker, though.
Um, I didn't do anything to XUL layout in the patch on bug 575767, so I would be very surprised if that fixed anything...
When trying to repro the bug, I discovered another problem with feedback button appearance - if you drag it back to the Customize panel, it looks really wrong. See screenshot.
Even with the latest patches, I can still reproduce the problem (on 4.0b1).
Aakash, what do you mean by "a fixed position"?

Ah, I meant "fixed-size".

we cannot reproduce this on the latest beta. Mark it as resolved for now.
