User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:2.0b2pre) Gecko/20100629 Minefield/4.0b2pre
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.9.2.6) Gecko/20100625 Firefox/3.6.6

Firefox hangs when opening the options dialog, specifically the tabs "General" and "Applications". Killing threads "gfxASurface::gfxASurface" or "gfxWindowsPlatform::FinishLoader" ends the hang.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open options dialog
2.Switch to General or Applications tab
3.Observe hang
4.Open Process Explorer and kill "gfxASurface::gfxASurface" or "gfxWindowsPlatform::FinishLoader" thread
5.All tabs are functional again

This is a regression from Firefox 3.6.3. It happens in Firefox 3.7/4.0, too.
Turns out the culprit is TortoiseCVS 1.8.28. TortoiseCVS' use of overlay icons breaks the display of chrome://toolkit.jar/content/global/bindings/filefield.xml. Upgrading to TortoiseCVS 1.10.10 solves the problem.
