I am not able to decide which browser does the table rendering correctly.
Fact of the matter is, that I do not like the page shown by M18.
Please compare screen shots taken on MSIE5.0 NS4.73 and M18.

I had hard time to upload non corrupted gif files to the bugzilla using
M18. That is the main reason why is M18 gif file posted 3 times. M18 somehow
corrupts the file during upload.

Hmm the rendering is different than in 4.x and MSIE but there are some HTML
errors in the document. (Wrong doctype and so on.) Try http://validator.w3.org/check
But when I tried to remove all errors the rendering is still different but it
changed.

We need small (less than 1kb) testcases for each of the bugs on that page.
I can see at least two errors, namely the excess redness at the top left and the
collapsing at the top right. I would guess the collapsing is an incremental 
reflow bug related to an image not loading (causing a reflow with ctrl++/ctrl+-
solves the problem). The other problem may be similar (broken image turns into 
alt text thus increasing cell size; we've seen it before).

If no test cases are magically created then I'll do them when I next look at
this bug after Netscape's RTM. :-)
