just installed FireFox 3.66 and have noticed a big change in behaviour. Very often it has occurred that cmd-w will not close a tab, and going to the file menu won't close the tab either. closing the tab with the x doesn't work. Only by selecting the red close button of the entire window does it work. The is a sporadic behaviour

After playing some imbedded QT movie (JPL Website), the spinning disk will appear and you cannot regain control of FireFox unless you cmd-opt-esc.

When you do a google search. Once the search results page is shown, FireFox will not allow you to advance to the next page of search results unless you "refresh" the current page first, then select "next page" under the google arrow.

This makes for very tedious searching of multiple google results pages.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1.google.com in new tab
2.in search window type railroads
3.select any of the displayed links.
4.back arrow to previous page
5.go to bottom of window and select next page from google
6. nothing will happen even when you try selecting the page number to go to
7. if you refresh the current page...all will work as expected
Actual Results:
none of the page numbers or next page button work

Tab window will not close using cmd-w. Going to file menu to close the tab will not work, selecting the close x on the tab itself does not work. Selecting the red close button for the entire window does work.

Expected Results:
move to next page of google results when selected or go to the page number selected.

cmd-w should normally close the tab
