User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.4) Gecko/20100611 Firefox/3.6.4 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)

There is a major problem with Firefox Version 3.6.4, and possibly older versions, in saving "complete" Webpages to Disk. The problem may vary, but with the following Webpage it blots out a major portion with "black". Load and Save the following Webpage to Disk. When you Open it from Disk, it will be screwed up.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download the above Webpage.
2. Save it to your Hard Disk as a "complete" Webpage.
3. Close Firefox.
4. Re-Open Firefox, and put it in OFFLINE mode.
5. Open the Webpage from Disk.
Actual Results:
There are major defects in the saved Webpage, including a big black blotch.

Expected Results:
The Webpage should be properly saved in its original form.
It's probably something to do with the 'lightbox' code that this page uses (implements overlays, probably for one of the ads). I can see several errors in the error console (about opacity and script permissions), but they seem to be the same when viewing the original page.

Note that modern webpages are very dynamic, using scripts and iframes from all over the places, and content that is influenced by JavaScript code. "Saving in its original form" doesn't really exist anymore, it's not a photograph. I'm not sure what's going on here, but it seems one of the more complicated scripts goes wrong.

Why do you say that it's a major problem with the entire save-feature ? Have you seen it on other pages ? And what do you mean with "problems may vary" ?
I meant that the problem may vary from website to website. I have had problems saving Webpages on other websites -- especially Webpages from previous structures of this same cinematography website. They've changed their Webpage layout a few times, and this is the worst for saving to Disk. I hope something can be done to fix this problem.
This problem does not happen with Internet Explorer 7. This is definitely a Firefox problem.
