This is not happening when the firefox window is minimized. This is not happening with the Konqueror 4.4.3 browser Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. go to the website Actual Results: high CPU usage Expected Results: negligible CPU usage
For me, the CPU usage on a 1.6ghz asus eee pc 1000h is around 20%, so not so much. X constantly stays at 10% (not influenced by the URL above). When I scroll the page though with the mouse wheel, the scrolling DOES feel noticeably more laggy than on other pages/tabs. So at least it does have a slightly noticeable, although not devastating impact on performance here. [I used: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2.4) Gecko/20100622 Fedora/3.6.4-1.fc13 Firefox/3.6.4]

the site has changed, so I cannot reproduce it now. I think it's safe to close.
