Description

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; nl; rv:1.9.2.6) Gecko/20100625 Firefox/3.6.6
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; nl; rv:1.9.2.4) Gecko/20100608 Thunderbird/3.1

This problem also happens when trying to print an received email.

Mostly disapaers when I opened the specific email and then answer or print that email.

Reproducible: Always
Is this the same as bug 509907? Specifically, does it only happen if text is selected when you reply to the message?

Click on other zone of the message (you must unselect the selected text).

This is a feature: see bug #23394

Then why didn't I had that problem with older Thunderbird versions?

Toine 2 questions for you:

1. What is your TB release?

2. I have understand well? You have an email. You highlight a portion of text in the body and then when you press the reply button in the newly created mail you have only the text selected: it's true?

This feature is landed from 2008-06-11.

if you were using a Thunderbird version release before 2008-06-11, you are right: old version don't work as new!
