I installed the Firefox 4 beta on windows 7 as a limited user. During the installation, it requested admin rights, which I gave it, and it proceeded to install fine. However the new Firefox button was not only NOT enabled by default, but not even an option. I uninstalled Firefox, logged out, and logged in under an administrator account. I re-installed Firefox, and this time the Firefox button worked correctly.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install firefox on windows 7 while logged into a non-admin user account.
2.
3.
Actual Results:
The Firefox button failed to enable itself in Firefox.
Expected Results:
The Firefox button should have been enabled.
Summary: If a limited user on windows 7 / vista installs firefox, the firefox button will not work → If a limited user on windows 7 / vista installs firefox 4 beta, the firefox button will not work

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 4 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). Also, ensure you have the most up to date graphics drivers, operating system updates, and plugin versions (flash, java, etc). If you continue to see this issue with the newest Firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
