User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.6) Gecko/20100625 Firefox/3.6.6 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Creative ZENcast v2.00.13 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.6) Gecko/20100625 Firefox/3.6.6 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Creative ZENcast v2.00.13 When I search for something in the google search engine, I press the search button on Google but I don't get my results. I then have to press refresh, and then it goes to my results. This seems to happen every time, and I need to press refresh to get search results. I'm not sure what the problem is. I wasn't sure if this would be firefox's problem or not. But I know that my dad recently installed bluecoat k9 web filter, and so I'm not sure if that is their problem that they need to fix, but I was just letting you (firefox) know. I will email this to them as well, and also to google just in case. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Type something in Google in your firefox window 2. Press "Google Search" 3. Notice the address bar changes to something, but your page does not. 4. Refresh and notice that you now have your search results. Actual Results: The problem was still there. Expected Results: Go to my search results without me having to refresh. Default theme.
Please try the Steps to Reproduce in a freshly created profile. http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Managing+profiles#Starting_the_Profile_Manager
Mardeg, thanks for responding. Do I need to create a profile? I havn't even created one before, and am just runnign firefox, as is, do I still need to do it? If I create a new profile, will firefox erase all my bookmarks?
Yes, Yes, and No - you can switch back just as easily. These are support questions, and in future you may find asking in the support forums and chat before you file a bug will mean less need to file bugs :) http://tinyurl.com/firefoxhelp
You did create a profile before, it is automatically created when you install firefox. Sometimes external things like extensions can mess them up, so you need to create a new one for testing.

I don't know what happened exactly but it just fixed for some reason I think. Thanks for addressing it.
