User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-GB; rv:1.9.2.3) Gecko/20100401 Firefox/3.6.3
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-GB; rv:1.9.2.3) Gecko/20100401 Firefox/3.6.3

Firefox has been creashing on a regular basis when loading the first page of a session.

If I turn on my PC, start firefox and then immediatly load a favourite, the application crashes and sends a bug report.

My favourties are stored in a subfolder of the bookmarks toolbar, and accessed from the bookmarks toolbar.

If I restart firefox, the problem wont happen again (apart from a random occassion or two probably not related) until next time i boot my pc and open firefox

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Turn on PC
2. Load Firefox
3. Select a favourite from a subfolder of the bookmarks toolbar
Actual Results:
firefox crashed

Expected Results:
Firefox should have opened one of my bookmarks

Please update to firefox 3.6.6 or later. Then, if it still happens, go to about:crashes and give a crash id from there. What website is this that is crashing?

I'm not sure if it's a specific website, although it may be, as there are only a few that I would go to immediatly after booting up my pc.

I has happened for certain on the development version of a website I am working on, but there is nothing massivly complex going on http://devel.tablewarfare.com.

I'll update and let you know if I go a day or two without a repeat.

Ooh, if it makes a difference my shortcut is actually to http://cache.tablewarfare.com which redirects via apache to http://devel.tablewarfare.com.

I'll do the upgrade, and if the problem persists, correct the shortcut so that it is not pointing to an immediate server redirect, and then get back to you.

That pages loads fine for me with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; en-US; rv:2.0b2pre) Gecko/20100712 Minefield/4.0b2pre
Firefox has not crashed when clicking a favourite, however it has crashed twice now when just loading web pages.

This is kinda odd/interesting.

Based on your description, I'm going to bet your actual complaint is about Skype, in which case you should disable Skype's Firefox extension (it isn't critical, disabling it doesn't break Skype)....
The Skype extension is only installed because Skype put it on there. I never use it so have no qualms about disabling it.

I'll update you in a day or two if I remain crash free.
Forgot to update on this following the removal of the Skype toolbar. The crash has not occured since.
