Much appreciated if someone could lend a hand doing whatever black magic is necessary from your end :) The strings are all in Narro (https://l10n.mozilla.org/narro/narro_project_manage.php?l=gd&p=22) but in case that's not accessible except via my account, I've uploaded the exported zip from it and uploaded it to http://www.akerbeltz.org/22-gd.zip I'm sort of assuming that since I'm already through the paperwork etc with Firefox, this won't need any new? Thanks everyone! Reproducible: Always
This is for Simon to take on.
I don't mean to be pushy but... anyone awake and watching this bug?
Pushed changeset d525afeb8ce5 to http://hg.mozilla.org/releases/l10n-mozilla-1.9.2/gd/ and 7bc9113f9a67 to http://hg.mozilla.org/releases/comm-1.9.2 I would have pushed your changes to l10n-central as well, but it seems that Axel hasn't created a repository there for you yet. Therefore I'm leaving this bug open for now...
Michael, looking at your compare-locales output at https://l10n-stage-sj.mozilla.org/dashboard/compare?run=68629 it seems that you missed one of the basic rules for mozilla strings: "Don't ever use quotation marks inside a string". I'll fix that for you in two weeks when I'm back at home. If you can find someone, who can do this earlier, I would of course appreciate it. That would give you working Thunderbird 3.1 nightly builds earlier.
Do you need an l10n-central repository? I didn't create one yet on purpose so that we can focus on getting the code fixed on the stable branches and then branch for development branches from that, and not bother about keeping things in sync across branches from the get-go.
basic rules - no one pointed that one out to me but I'll toe the line from now on ;) central repositoty - err... pass I'll take your advice on that, as I have no idea how that is different from what I have not. I've done Fx, moving on to Thunderbird and will do Sunbird as well. Possibly Seamonkey too. Does that number of products require a central rep?
What repos you need for which app is something we (me, sipaq, kairo) haven't figured out. The more apps you do, the likelier it is that you'll end up needing to migrate landings from one repo to the other without much help from tooling. SeaMonkey might be the app that's most different at this point in time.
given my technical skills, or rather lack thereof, the less black magic, the better I would say otherwise I'll be forever haunting the chat room.
Ok, I've uploaded a new version with no quotation mark errors http://www.akerbeltz.org/Thunderbird 3.1-gd.zip
Sheesh that's a smart export name... changed to http://www.akerbeltz.org/Thunderbird31-gd.zip
Done, Pike walked me through it. http://hg.mozilla.org/releases/l10n-mozilla-1.9.2/gd/rev/8f8925c93642
Ok, marking as FIXED for now.
