Not sure who suggested it during the Feedback session at the Summit, but they said:
"We should add the possibility for people to submit additional metadata along with their feedback, such as installed add-ons."

I like the idea, but I am unsure if we'd go too far into the direction of a bug tracker by doing this. On the other hand, if we can use this data to create a bug report from user feedback (by, for example, finding out that add-on X relates closely to a broken website problem on reba.com (hah!)), then there's nothing wrong with that.

Well, color me confused. I thought there was a bug on implementing about:support. Let's use this bug for that. We'll definitely need to do this through the add-on.
Summary: Allow submitting installed add-ons to feedback → Add about:support to our sad submissions

This seems very heavy for Input. What does the about:support data give us? So we see some negative feedback and we see oh they have CoolIris and therefore that explains the issue they had? Input isn't a two way street, having more data about a user frustration doesn't necessarily help us.
I'm hesitant to go down this road, because about:support is a huge amount of data, and there'll be a fair amount of data processing involved. So unless we have very clear objectives with what we want to do with this data, we should WONTFIX.

The context of this bug has changed a bit, but the overall purpose is the same. This'll be taken care of when we start looking at the "Tell Us More" service in Q3.

Moving this to wontfix as a new bug will be filed for the new service later.
