User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.6) Gecko/20100625 Firefox/3.6.6 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.6) Gecko/20100625 Firefox/3.6.6 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) The URL provided I have viewed for a long time on Youtube. Only since updating to the latest firefox (and the plugin-container.exe runs in processes) have I detected noticeable jitter and choppiness. This is all video, both HD and SD (360p all the way up to 1080p). I have another computer with identical setup that is running an older version of Firefox that does not have this issue. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Play the flash based video 2. 3. Hardware: AMD Phenom II X4 955 @ 3.2Ghz 4GB DDR3 1600 RAM NVidia Geforce 260 GTX 896MB RAM Windows XP SP3 Direct X 9.0c
Update your flash to 10.1 r53 or later, and test in a new profile. http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Managing+profiles. I would also suggest updating your video drivers from nvidia's website.
Version: unspecified → 3.6 Branch
Current version of Flash plugin: 10.1.53.64 Most recent video drivers installed. On both machines. (257.21)
Did you test in a fresh profile?
Yes. I also just updated to version 3.6.6 on the other machine, and it now has the same problem. Same video card and drivers, same flash version.
Reporter -> Are you still experiencing this issue with the latest version of Firefox? Have you updated flash and your video drivers?
This issue was resolved after the update to 3.6.10 and the subsequent flash upgrade during that time. Whatever the issue is I havent experienced it since then. Bug can be listed as resolved. Thx.
