This bug has been in Firefox since 2.X as far as I know. And the latest Firefox version (5.0.1) still has this bug. When you copy/paste from the "view source" window, there will always be an extra newline every 10 lines.
(sorry, make that every 6 lines of code, it used to be 10)
This is a duplicate of 198391. Can someone mark it as such?
Hello, ericzutter i was not able to reproduce this under Windows XP SP2 running Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:12.0a2) Gecko/20120307 Firefox/12.0a2. So upgrade your browser to a new version and try again.
