User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-GB; rv:1.9.2.6) Gecko/20100625 Firefox/3.6.6 ( .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET4.0C) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.2.4) Gecko/20100608 Thunderbird/3.1 Most of the time when I drop & drop a message into a different folder, the target folder under the mouse cursor does NOT get highlighted. I did not notice this until the current version of TB. This is a little bit inconsistent, in that sometimes the highlighting does work. However the non-highlighting happens the vast majority of the time so it is easy to reproduce. IMO this is slightly more severe than a purley "cosmetic" issue as it does affect ease of use, in that it makes it a bit harder to make sure you're on the right folder, and also it was initially unclear if the DND would work. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1.Select a message in the message list 2.Drag it over the list of folders Actual Results: The folder under the mouse is not highlighted Expected Results: The folder under the mouse is highlighted
thanks for the screen shot. i can't say i've ever seen this. do you see this with thunderbird started in safe mode?
Yes, in safe mode too. FYI I am now in: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.2.7) Gecko/20100713 Thunderbird/3.1.1
What mouse pointer do you get, the [] or the (/) one? Trying to figure out if this is actually the same as bug 578934 or not.
