You have now a /4beta/ folder in your SVN repository (svn update).

Reminder, mozilla.com repo for your locale is:

https://svn.mozilla.org/projects/mozilla.com/trunk/YOURLOCALECODE/


The firstrun page is split in 3 tasks:
- translation of the page itself : 
/firefox/4beta/firstrun/index.html

- adding and translating 4 new strings in your main.lang file, these strings are for the video player on this page and will be used in other pages on the
site (see the webdashboard for your locale)

- translation of the subtitles for the video located in
/includes/l10n/sub-fx4-firstrun-beta.html

The subtitles are a simple html file, each subtitle is enclosed in a <div>.

Please commit directly to SVN and indicate your revision numbers here or alternatively, attach your files to this bug (upload them with the text/plain MIME type).

The staging site for the page is:
https://www-trunk.stage.mozilla.com/uk/firefox/4.0b1/firstrun/

This page will be common for all betas so /4.0b1/,/4.0b2/... will actually point to /4beta/

Hi Ehsan! Thank you for your review and your correction. Most of them is because I'm new to translating Firefox. But just a little notice:
Farhangestan Parsi said use YEHEH in place of KASREYE EZAFEH instead of HAMZA,
and this is now teaching to all the student in school. HAMZA is wrong in pronunciation and also HAMZA is not originally a Persian character. But if you really insist of using it, I'll do this. And about your question, Yes I'm now translating subtitles for the video and I'll upload it soon. Please help me in finding Persian equivalent for some words like: Sync Servers. Thank You!

That's actually a common misconception.  According to the Persian script guidelines documents available on persianacademy.ir, we're supposed to use HAMZA instead of YEHEH.  I'm aware that the alternate style is being taught at schools in Iran, but that's now what the Persian Academy considers to be correct.

I'm personally ambivalent on this issue (I do use YEHEH in my personal writing!) but in the localization team we have decided to follow the Persian Academy's guidelines, that's why I've asked you to make those changes.

Hmm, you could use "سرویس‌دهنده‌های هم‌گام‌سازی" as the equivalent term.

As a general comment, could you please refrain from using ARABIC YEH and use FARSI YEHEH instead?  Ditto for HAMZAs...  Thanks!
