No picture, cannot go to particular ads page. On this same machine, Firefox, Chrome, and IE do not have this issue. As i remember, seamonkey 1.8x was ok. I am not sure if some plug-ins are missing. I reinstalled flash and shockwave with no improvement. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.go to http://www.mercurynews.com/ 2.scroll down. click "Fry's" in the "Shopping" box on the lower right hand side. Actual Results: only a list of dates are shown. no thumbnail of ads pages. cannot click to show ad page. no warning of "missing plug-in" , etc. Expected Results: please do the same using firefox and you will see. at least prompt for a missing plug-in.
Do you have adblock installed and do you tried to disable it on that site ?
Tools->Image Manager->Manage Image Permissions. Check that you didn't accidentally block images from this site.
Adblock Plus does indeed block this ad as Comment 1 theorized. Unblocking the page shows the ad. OP has not responded back in 3 months. Recommend -RESOLVED- but can be reopened if this issue resurfaces and it turns out not to be a result of ABP.
