When I have my messages list window open the message preview pane keeps appearing. I don't want it to and I keep turning it off, but it keeps coming back.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open message window
2. View > layout > message pane unchecked
OR
3. Use cursor to move the message pane off the screen.
Actual Results:  
Okay while the window is open, but when I open a new account window, or close and open the current account window, the preview pane reappears.

Expected Results:  
If I uncheck the message pane in View > layout, it should stay unchecked.
If I move the pane right off my screen, it should stay there.
For all my accounts, when I have set it up.
