This is sort of related to bug 534614 and bug 579719.

When changing the start date and recurrence pattern of an event, its exceptions and deleted occurrences will be moved according to the start date change. The recurrence preview does not indicate this, however.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a recurring event.
2. Delete an occurrence or move one occurrence to a different date.
3. Edit the recurrence master and modify the start date, then go to the recurrence editor with the calendar preview.
4. Change the recurrence pattern to move recurrences to a different date.
Actual Results:
The preview shows the recurrences as if the exceptions were not moved.

Expected Results:
The preview should show exactly what happens to the recurring events, including the right dates for exceptions and deleted occurrences.
Nominating WONTFIX. You already mentioned Bug 534614 that reports this behavior as an error. There is no sense to introduce the same error in another location. To get correct behavior one should fix the bug not duplicate it.
This holds only true if bug 534614 is considered as bug. Still, not all intricacies are covered in bug 534614. For example, if the fix for bug 534614 was to (optionally) move exceptions if the start date is being moved, then this bug here still applies.

Can we keep this one around until we decide and implement a fix for bug 534614?
