Closing ff with the x in the upper right corner causes a windows crash error message. there is no automatic crash report upon ff restart. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open http://http://www3.merriam-webster.com/opendictionary/ 2. close ff with the clicking the cross in the upper right corner Actual Results: => see attachments Windows crash message on "plugin-container.exe" .. had a problem .. had to be closed .. == problem signatur == AppName: plugin-container.exe AppVer: 1.9.2.3828 ModName: ntdll.dll ModVer: 5.1.26005755 Offset: 0000100b Expected Results: Displaying the page just upgraded to 3.6.6 and installed "tab kit" addon. ignored the message to update flash. Shouldn't cause a) the full ff to crash b) a crash caught by windows ?!
found a similar error in bugzilla reported by a windows 7 user https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=562768
I will not be able to provide the windbg from this device because of install dependencies of the debugging tool. After updating flash from version 10.0.22.87 to 10.1.53.64 the merriam-webster page no longer causes ff to freeze.
it should be possible to install an older version of windbg, but if 10.1.* works for you, that's fine w/ me.
