I've tried downloading the M18 Build for solaris on several boxes running RH6.2 and Suse 7 and in every case while untarring.gzing the archive it returns an error. I believe the archive is corrupt, and should possibly be replaced or removed

Dawn, given this is about M18, this should be either resolved as FIXED or WONTFIX, depending.
By now, M18 is too old to worry about. Marking wontfix.
