Go to http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/central/ 

Choose, for example 'One click bookmarking'
Start playing the OGG video.
Close the DIV by clicking the close button.

=> You can still hear sound although the video is not visible anymore.

Solution: Stop video when closing the div.
Is this really a websites bug, or Firefox itself? I see this on other websites as well.

The solution would be to stop the video using a JS call prior to making the div invisible. So, yes it is possible.

This will stop every playing video on the page when you press close.
