User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.6) Gecko/20100625 Firefox/3.6.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.6) Gecko/20100625 Firefox/3.6.6 When downloading a file over 4GB, the download manager reports that it failed to save because it could not read the file. It appears that the file is saved correctly, but the .part file still exists and the download manager reports it as failed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Download a file larger than 4GB, for example SQL Server 2008 R2. 2. Wait for download to complete. 3. View error message and files created. 4. There should not be an error and the file should be downloaded like normal. Actual Results: Received an error message stating that the file could not be saved because it could not be read. The file appeared to be correct but the .part file still existed. The download manager reported it as failed. Expected Results: The file should download as usual. It should be marked as successful. The .part file should not exist after the file completes downloading. Windows 7 x64, 16GB memory. Firefox 3.6.6. Tried several times.
Is this still an issue ?
