Ok, I'll try to translate for everyone, even if the Italian is quite bad actually...
The user says that .rtf files are shown inline in the message just like a plain text file. I believe that the part regarding the images is a user error, so I'll reply to him in Italian.

Ciao Roberto, per favore sii un po' più chiaro su quello che intendi dire. Per quanto riguarda le immagini, c'è un opzione in Thunderbird per decidere se visualizzarle all'interno del messaggio oppure no. Controlla tra le preferenze.

worksforme per testcase of attachment 633099 [details] on Tb13/winxp:
RTF file correctly shown as attachment in attachment pane, with "show attachments inline" enabled, *not* shown inline as plain text source of rtf as claimed by reporter.
