User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.7) Gecko/20100713 Firefox/3.6.7
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.7) Gecko/20100713 Firefox/3.6.7

After applied the security update, and restarted my system, I could no longer access the internet. I had to uninstall firefox, download it and make a copy from a different computer, then reinstall in on my current computer. Only then could I connect to the internet again.

Reproducible: Didn't try

I will be reluctant to update my security
I'm sorry you had a bad experience. Please see http://support.mozilla.com/ if you continue to have problems. They'll want to know what version you were upgrading from, what internet security software you have installed, and whether its definitions were up to date (some of them block "unknown" programs from accessing the internet and need to send out their own updates when we or other companies ship new software).

Not sure what specifically to fix from the description here.
