We should release Jetpack SDK 0.6. Use this bug to track tasks that need to be done to release the product, like spinning candidate builds and publishing a blog post about it. Use bug 580809 to track code blockers for the release.
I just pushed the second release candidate: http://groups.google.com/group/mozilla-labs-jetpack/browse_thread/thread/8531db35f52403b2 And the release date has been pushed back to Wednesday, July 28 to give these builds two days to bake.
I have thawed the tree for 0.7 development: http://groups.google.com/group/mozilla-labs-jetpack/browse_thread/thread/6c2a48c57e4b3775
No additional blockers found, so I blessed the second release candidate builds, Zandr updated the website, and I have pushed the blog post: http://mozillalabs.com/jetpack/2010/07/28/announcing-jetpack-sdk-0-6/ I have also notified the forum: http://groups.google.com/group/mozilla-labs-jetpack/browse_thread/thread/7206de24799eabf Thus we are released! Leaving this bug open for the last couple of steps in the release process (feeling good, reviewing the process).
Feeling good felt, process reviewed (in today's weekly project status meeting).
The Add-on SDK is no longer a Mozilla Labs experiment and has become a big enough project to warrant its own Bugzilla product, so the "Add-on SDK" product has been created for it, and I am moving its bugs to that product. To filter bugmail related to this change, filter on the word "looptid".
