I'm unable to log into LDAP to change my password. Using paul.biggar@gmail.com in the user field, and the password emailed to me in the password field, I get 401. chizu changed the password for me, but I have the same problem with the new one.

Still not working for me using the second generated password. Something's broken. Passing this bug to aravind for the ldap side. You should be able to use your ssh key with hg in the meantime.

Also can't get into hg, with the command: hg push -f ssh://hg.mozilla.org/try -e 'ssh -vv -l paul.biggar@gmail.com' Relevant portion of ssh log: remote: debug1: Next authentication method: publickey remote: debug1: Offering public key: /home/pbiggar/.ssh/id_dsa remote: debug2: we sent a publickey packet, wait for reply remote: debug1: Authentications that can continue: publickey,gssapi-with-mic remote: debug1: Trying private key: /home/pbiggar/.ssh/identity remote: debug1: Trying private key: /home/pbiggar/.ssh/id_rsa remote: debug2: we did not send a packet, disable method remote: debug1: No more authentication methods to try. remote: Permission denied (publickey,gssapi-with-mic). I tried to connect to my own machine (ssh 0) using the key, and that worked fine.

Wait a minute, why are we granting mercurial access to a non mozilla account for a mozilla employee? If Paul has been a community contributor before, this is fine, if not, we should be creating/granting access to his moco account. Can someone please clear this up for me?

(In reply to comment #11) > If Paul has been a community contributor before, this is fine, if not, we > should be creating/granting access to his moco account. Can someone please > clear this up for me? nevermind, shaver set this straight and I won't be a stickler for this anymore.. I think I found the problem with this public key in ldap, working on figuring out why its busted.

OK, worked, thanks. > Wait a minute, why are we granting mercurial access to a non mozilla account for a mozilla employee? I wanted to get going quickly, and my @mozilla.com account wasn't set up yet (we rushed somethings to get me to the summit, and there wasnt time to get everything set up). However, now that it's set up, I wonder if its best to switch things to use pbiggar@mozilla.com?

(In reply to comment #14) > OK, worked, thanks. > > However, now that it's set up, I wonder if its best to > switch things to use pbiggar@mozilla.com? That is strictly up to you. However, you will have privileges only on one of your accounts. Pick one and let us know. I obviously prefer that you use your mozilla.com account, but others prefer to keep a community account (like your gmail account) and contribute code using that. Either way is fine by me, let me know what you'd like.

OK, lets make it the mozilla account. I think that simplifies things.

Okay, I migrated your mercurial privileges to your mozilla.com account. Please use that for future checkins etc. Can I clean up the other (gmail) account? (mark it inactive etc). Also, could you please test your mozilla.com account against hg.m.o to make sure everything works as expected?

Looks good, thanks: $ ssh -l pbiggar@mozilla.com hg.mozilla.org No interactive shells allowed here! Connection to hg.mozilla.org closed. $ ssh -l paul.biggar@gmail.com hg.mozilla.org Your mercurial account has been disabled due to inactivity. Please file a bug at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org (or http://tinyurl.com/yjopalp) to re-activate your account.

Cool, thanks for being patient through all this. I will remove all mercurial attributes from the gmail account.
