When more then one window/instance of firefox is open, the F6 shortcut to the url bar doesnt'work.

This problem exists as long as I can remember using firefox (guess since ff2)

ps: guess this bug report exists in someway, but I wasn't able to find it. sry

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open firefox
2. create new instance (str+n)
3. hit F6
Actual Results:  
the url bar isn't highlighted and in focus

Expected Results:  
url bar is highlighted and in focus
If you made Customizations wrt Search Fields in the Toolbars you might be hit by Bug 249735.

dunno what "wrt" means, but the bug is different than Bug 249735. The displacement described by Bug 249735 (hope i got that right) doesn't occur. Here its pretty simple that F6 doen't work in the actual firefox window when 2 or more instances of firefox are open.
I cant reproduce this even with 3 windows opened. Searchbar is removed. This is with version 3.6.10
