Summary: 3.1.1 thunderbird install cause aii of my mIL IN MY INBOX TO BE DELETED. → 3.1.1 thunderbird install causes inbox to be deleted
Inside your Thunderbird installation directory there should be a file named install.log and there should be a file named uninstall.log in a subdirectory named uninstall. Please attach these files to this bug.
vseerror, did you intentionally change the component to folders-message-lists from installer? Moving back to installer until the cause is understood but if you know why this is happening please post a comment with some details.

btw: the installer doesn't touch profiles so chances are this is not an installer bug and is instead a bug with profile selection or something similar

I did intentionally change - figuring it was either a profile issue or folders issue. but will leave here for now
Is your AV (antivirus) software set to *exclude* scanning of your mail folders?
