User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.8) Gecko/20100722 Firefox/3.6.8 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.7) Gecko/20100713 Thunderbird/3.1.1

Deleting a folder copies it to the trash. If a folder with the same name already exists in the trash, you get the message "A folder with that name already exists. Please enter a different name.", just as if you were copying to any other folder. However, this message would be confusing to a user who encountered it by clicking 'Delete' on a folder. ("I don't see another folder with this name, and besides, why should that stop me from deleting it?!")

Suggested solution would be to adopt the windows method of copying folders with identical names - add a (1) to the new addition. At least though the error message should say something along the lines of "A folder with the same name is already in the Trash. You have to empty the trash to delete this folder."

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a folder named "temp".
2. Delete the folder.
3. Create a second folder named "temp".
4. Attempt to delete the folder.
Actual Results:
Error message: A folder with that name already exists. Please enter a different name.

Expected Results:
Folder is deleted.
Or at least, a more user-friendly error message.
