The "View->Messages->Unread" is now GLOBAL??

Details
One used to be able to check this on a folder level. Recently,
it seems to have become a global - i.e. if I checked this for one
of my newsgroups, it would also be in effect for my "Inbox" - very
insidious, because for awhile, I thought Mozilla had lost the content
of my Inbox!

I think it's been this way for a while -- certainly a few weeks.
It's my number-one-with-a-bullet mozmail usability issue.

It's been this way ever since views were introduced into 6.0

Verified, this is a duplicate of bug 55199 "Can't have different "view unread"
settings between mail & news."
