Japanese people prefer to use URLs started with ttp:// on BBS for some reasons. It's called "h 抜き" (without h).

I don't know about U.S. cases but Wikipedia has an example "hxxp://" on the equivalent page:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hxxp

It would be nice if the "Open Link" function supports such URL-like strings.
