User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; fr; rv:1.9.2.8) Gecko/20100722 Firefox/3.6.8 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; fr; rv:1.9.2.8) Gecko/20100722 Firefox/3.6.8 I had two windows. One window with one open tab. The other window with a few tabs opened. When I middle-clicked on a link in my Personal Bar in the first window, the tab would open in the other window (it was then reproducible indefinitely). After a click in the Personal Bar of the second window, a tab opened there and then the bug would not be reproducible anymore. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open 2 windows 2. Middle-click in Personal Bar to open a new tab Actual Results: The tab may open in the wrong window (the one you weren't touching) Expected Results: Open the tab in the current window, the one I touched
Can you please re-test in Safe Mode (http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe Mode) or in a fresh profile (http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Managing+profiles).

"Unfortunately", it is not reproducible that easily. I'm not sure why it happened. There must be other parameters to take in consideration, which I'm not sure of.
Please try to reproduce that also considering the options in comment 1.
