Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0b2) Gecko/20100720 Firefox/4.0b2 ( .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET4.0C)
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0b2) Gecko/20100720 Firefox/4.0b2 ( .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET4.0C)

About a quarter of the N in New Tab changes to the first letter of the new tab. Otherwise New Tab stays in the title. If the tab bar is redrawn (can be switching to another tab, or switching to another window that covers the tab bar) it is fixed.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a new tab. The words on the tab say "New Tab".
2. Navigate to any address.
Actual Results:
The text in the tab title does not change.

Expected Results:
Show the title in the tab title bar.
Are you using a Persona and if yes, is it fixed once you disable it?
It does seem to only apply when using Persona's, enabling the default Firefox theme displays the correct tab name after loading a website.
Awaiting feedback from Stephen and I suspect he can see the same. In such a case please mark it as dupe of bug 571918.
Didn't think to check whether it's affected by Personas. Will do when I get back from lunch.
Indeed it is! When I use the default theme, it works fine.
