58282 - ebay page with 700+ thumbnails bogs down browser

Overview Description:  I am not sure if this is a cache/imagelib/performance 
problem but it seems as though when I load this page the browser really labors.  
The scroll bar stalls out, I cannot move windows or open dialogs etc.  In 4.75 
the page takes awhile to load (not nearly as long as 6) but I can still use the 
browser while this is taking place.  This is most prevalent on my mac.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.)  Go to the url.  It is ebay's art/antiques/paintings category if the link 
changes.
2.)  try to scroll through page while it is loading

Actual Results:  page loads slow / scrolling difficult

Expected Results:  Should load faster and browser shouldn't bog down

Build Date & Platform Bug Found:  WinNT 10/27  Mac 10/27

This seems to load fine on linux trunk build 2000102708.  I can use other
windows and scroll OK while loading...
