See bug 582725 for details. We should not do any fuzzy matching when generating the .po file for en-US. I wonder why, when compiling to .mo, these strings are picked up (I thought fuzzy strings don't make it into the .mo file) but either way, not doing fuzziness in the first place will fix this.

What's this for?

The tower library extracts Gettext strings from code and then mushes them into the en-US file, suggesting "fuzzy" "translations" for it. It's useless in English, and breaks our English-language websites unless you catch and fix it manually.

It seems, the SUMO and Input (and zamboni?) compile.sh script called msgfmt with the -f flag, therefore enabling fuzzy translations. That's (almost?) never what we want. Fixed for Input in http://github.com/fwenzel/reporter-locales/commit/1f012a5 .
