Hotmail main page is not displayed correctly in FF4.
It is displayed with no structure, just in list, with disconnect at the bottom of the page.
This does not happen with Chrome or FF3.6*

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.logon to hotmail with ff4
2.
3.
Actual Results:  
The hotmail page with a column for the directories on the left, the messages and the content of a selected message is displayed in list

Expected Results:  
Just as FF3 and Chrome

It is really unfortunate that the reporter cannot add screenshots.

Screenshots can be attached using the add attachment link. Though this sounds like bug 571755.

This is an issue with Hotmail and the way they detect browser versions. Contacting hotmail and pointing them to this report would be helpful.

I contacted hotmail. Its a issue with Minefield. . .I have no problems with the webpage on any other browser but this one.

This happens because of poor browser user agent sniffing on Hotmail/Live Mail. To work around the issue you can add Firefox to the Minefield user agent.

1) pull up about:config
2) create a new string and name it general.useragent.extra.notfox
3) set its value to Firefox/3.6.8

How is this any different from bug 396259 or bug 582264? (I'm not sure from the description which this is a dupe of.)
